Johnson Residence / 2009
We work on residential projects of all scales, but the Johnson house was a treat. Our shop, in tandem with designer John Thompson, crafted a variety of wood elements for this home in the West Hills of Portland.
Our list of components included a hand chiseled island...
...and a mantle, fabricated out of native myrtle wood, an office desktop and a bathroom vanity crafted from FSC American Cherry. We even did a lovely little live edge mantle out of Big Leaf Maple.
The result is a striking home, warmed up by wood.
